May 21, 2020Sustainable Travel Ireland are offering FREE access to their first two courses and accompanying tools online; ‘Creating a Sustainability Policy’ and ‘Environmental Management Systems’. ‘Creating a Sustainability Policy’ focuses on creating a starting point, gathering the human resources required and creating a sustainable tourism policy for your organisation with some clear and achievable goals to aim for.
‘Environmental management systems’ is a masterclass on how to develop a systematic method of benchmarking and measuring progress in sustainability that works for your business. You will learn what you need to measure, and how.
Each course is presented as an informative and engaging online training resource. Downloadable support tools are provided to help you put this knowledge into action right away.
The training is a first step towards membership, further training and hopefully in many cases for certification in Eco or Sustainable Tourism.
