TikTok Strategies for Tourism Success

learniFI Live

Wednesday 13th May, 10.00am – 12.00pm

This training workshop will teach you how to exploit TikTok’s features to increase customer reach and brand awareness.

I’ve participated in many Fáilte Ireland training courses throughout my career in Digital Marketing. The digital landscape is constantly changing and it’s so crucial to keep up to date. These training sessions, tailored towards tourism and hospitality businesses, have been invaluable for me. As they are held over Zoom, they have allowed me to keep pace with the latest trends and learn new skills while effectively managing my workload. I highly recommend these courses and look forward to participating in more in the future.

As a new enterprise and someone relatively new to the industry, I had some concerns about getting up to speed, particularly in areas like Digital Marketing, Digital Accessibility, and understanding the overall tourism landscape. The sessions provided by the EU Just Transition Learning Network have been incredibly valuable to me, offering both insightful and practical knowledge that I’ve been able to apply directly to my business. I really appreciate the support and resources provided by Fáilte Ireland — it’s made a significant difference for my business.

In the lead up to re-opening our attraction following a significant expansion we needed to hit the ground running considering we had missed the first quarter due to the business being closed for construction works. I wanted to ensure we had a solid digital marketing plan in place, targeting our key audiences with the right messages – driving awareness of the new visitor proposition and driving online bookings. The programme I attended was Creating Your Digital Marketing Plan for 2024 Tourism Season and it was invaluable. It gave me the tools, knowledge and confidence to roll out a robust campaign to support our re-opening.

I have completed quite a few courses provided by Fáilte Ireland and found them informative and love the way they are conducted through participation. Although I have worked in in the hotel industry for nearly 25 years, I find the courses a great way to keep up to date with latest trends and techniques which I can apply to develop our business further.
